Can't upgrade to premium

So i'd normally go out and buy a $20 itunes card and top up my spotify premium once it runs out. This time i went to do it, put the money in, go to the account screen and it doesn't even give me the option to upgrade to premium. It just says            "Subscrption   Free", no option to upgrade to premium. Any idea why?

unfortunately, paying via iTunes is unavailable until early next month unless someone can prove me wrong. 

I would recommend getting a refund and purchasing a Spotify Gift Card as it is cheaper to buy from Spotify directly, rather than paying via an in-app purchase as the iTunes/ App Store enforces a lot of fees that Spotify has to put onto the user.

Why the **bleep** can't I upgrade though? I spent my money, put it into my iTunes account for one purpose. So how long, EXACTLY, until it works again?

For two weeks I can`t change my account for free to premium, I use credit card (two differents), payment in a oxxo and buy a card but nothing results
