Cancel Spotify Auto Renewal

So I bought the 3 month for .99 cent deal, but I don't want to be charged $9 and have my subscription renew after that date.

I found this: https://www.spotify.com/us/account/subscription/premium/cancel/
My question: will this cancel my subscription right away? Because I don't want that to happen, I want it to cancel after the 3 months

I did the same. You keep the current subscription, you only cancel the automatic renewal. As it couldn't be otherwise, especially if we paid for the current subscription.

Just watch out, because Spotify doesn't like us to cancel the renewal. I had to confirm it 3 or 4 times, after getting horrifying messages. As if my life was ending if I cancelled. Indeed I realized only later that after my first try the renewal was still on. Totally annoying and unprofessional. And probaby even illegal, at least here in Europe.

As @Jecht_Sin stated, you should be able to cancel your subscription and have it last until the end of the 3 months runs out. Hopefully you'll find a good use for Premium though and decide to keep your subscription though. 🙂
