Cancel subscription

I want to cancel my free subscription before tomorrow so I won't be charged but can't remember my password. When I click "forgot password" it still asks me for my old password. When I emailed support about it they sent me a badly spelled email asking for my postcode, DOB and the last four digits of my card. Since the rest of my card number appears on the site I did not want to give this over email  as I don't want to be robbed or anything. I just want a way to not be charged, even deleteing my account would do. Someone please help!

Just to make sure, did you use this page to try and reset your password?

If you get redirected to your online profile clicking the link @Josh posted above, click on your name at the top of the page and select Log Out and then try the link again - you should get to the password reset page. 

That being said it is perfectly safe to send Spotify your last 4 digits of your card number, since they don't store the rest of the card number after your first payment is processed and is a common practise amoung internet companies to verify your identity.
