Cancelled subscription but was still charged

Cancelled subscription but was still charged

I cancelled my subscription and was still charged.

I have been trying to get a hold of someone from spotify for the past hour and all I get are automated responses.

There is no phone number and keep being sent back to same contact page which results in the same email address.

Is this seriously how spotify treats customers?

Hey @Cperez2691,

If you're unable to get any response from the Email team, you can try sending a DM to @SpotifyCares.

Spotify currently doesn't have telephone support.

Hope that helps 🙂

I don't have a Twitter account so I would have to make another account with a completely different company and app just to get an answer?

That's horrible customer service.

I also cancelled my subscription and was charged which resulted in me being over drafted and can't get in touch with a person. I think that sucks and I would like to be reimbursed the $ back into my account.Out of work and On a very very tight budget.

It would be advisable to delete your payment info to avoid future possible charges:

1. Go to your Subscription and payment overview -->

2. Click UPDATE DETAILS. If it shows below 'Would you like to cancel your subscription?' click there and cancel.

3. Check the box to 'Remove', and click 'Change' button,

Note: If you have your Premium active you won't be able to remove your payment info. That's why it's important to cancel before clicking UPDATE DETAILS.

You can ask for a refund through customer support. Use this link:

They'll help you out. They take, at the most, 24 hrs to get back to you.

Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.
