Cancelling a subscription when Spotify says I do not have one.

Cancelling a subscription when Spotify says I do not have one.

When I try to cancel my subscription I get a message saying that I am currently using Spotify free.  Then it says I do not currently have a payment provider connected to my account.  It then asks to add a payment method.  A monthly payment of $10.79 is being taken from my bank for this service.  PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hi. It's possible you have a scond account. Get in touch with spotify here and they'll halp with this. If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, please reply to it to speed things along.

Thanks for your reply.  Should I assume sinice my playlists are gone that my account has been downgraded?

No, it sounds like you are logged into a second account. Spotify will help.

Thanks again for responding.  How do I sign into a different account when I only opened one account?  How do I get info on this second account?  Does Spotify have access to the user names and password associated with me?  If I have two, I need to know how to cancel both accounts, which might be difficult since I thought I only had one  😞
