Hello. I have been paying for premium for a couple years, but now, I changed my card, but for some reason I cannot add the new one.
Everytime it shows the error "Oops, seems your card or payment provider is having a bad day. Don't worry, no money has been charged. Try again or use another payment method." and I contacted the bank, everything should work and be ok, maybe someone has idea what might cause the problem.?

Hey @yohannp
Can you try another payment method? That's the only troubleshooting advice I can give.
If you can't try another payment method, Spotify will need to look at the internal systems. So if you can't try another payment method, you will need to reach out to customer support.
Hey @markado
Check out this support article to see if it helps:

Thank you for your answer.
I already check my card, and the bank, and tried different cards.
I tried first several days ago and every day since then, still the same issue. I also found several people had similar issues before (on the community site, or reddit) and resolution just seems to happen randomly.
Not sure if both of these posts are from the same person.
It looks like @markado was able to pay successfully when they first posted on Saturday.
I suggest double checking to ensure you for sure don't have Premium features and make sure that you are logged into the correct Spotify account.
No: different people. Sorry, I first only said I had the exact same issue so answered to his thread instead of creating an identical one.
And I still do.
I tried to pay to renew my upgrade (switchign from paying with paypal to credit card) since last week, and it's still does not work. I already made sure that my card worked (internationally too), and I checked with my bank. I tried with 2 different cards and still the same issue.

In the end, I had to use paypal again and it worked.
I still do not understand what happened and why such a large commercial site has issue with some generic credit cards. I hope the Spotify team can figure it out.
thank you for your help.
Glad to hear you got it working.
I have passed your feedback on to be looked into. Thanks!
