Cannot log in while using the correct password

I am currently on an andriod device using the Spotify app. It worked perfectly fine until as of 10 minutes ago, when it decided to tell me to log in to access my account. After typing in the CORRECT password multiple times, I was given the option to log in using a link sent to my email, which also didn't work as it claimed to be "expired". Finally I went to the Spotify website and logged in (first try with the same exact password) and changed the password from there. After going back to the app and typing in the new password, it still claimed that even THAT was incorrect.

Any suggestions on how I can solve this issue? Many thanks
