Cannot use my email again

Hi to everyone, I'm asking your help because i've faced some problems while trying to create an account. 

First of all, I had a previous account which I deleted and if I try to log in obviously I can't because the email isn't associated with any account.

After I deleted the account I've waited (can it be two weeks? I don't remember exactly but I know it's the right period), but when I tried to create a new account with that email, it says that it is linked to an existing account.

So how can I create an account with my previous email if it is the one linked to the deleted but somehow existing account?
