Cant create an account due to all usernames being taken!

No matter what I try it seems that every username I try is taken do to some reason that cant be explained, even if I type in some ridiculous name. So why is this?

Hi,

Have you tried deleting your browsers cookies/cache? Or an entirely different browser?

What happens if you just click sign up ignoring the already taken error message?

Make sure you don't put things in your username that are not allowed, there are some limitations (like length, characters etc.)

You could always sign up with Facebook if you have fb.

It sounds like something might have gone wrong during the registration process, if you get an error message saying your email address is already in use, just email the team here and they will be able to manually complete the registration process for you.

I did notice this bug on the new sign up page (the one that looks like a login box).

For everyone having problems, what browser are you using?

If there's any unregistered users that can't register, try the sign up link on the above post. Log out of Facebook first if you want a separate account, it's pushing FB logins hard.
