Cant subscribe to student premium

I canceled my regular premium subscription because I found out about the student discount for premium and when I try to upgrade it says that "my student credentials are already associated with another account." Is there something I'm doing wrong or any advice?

If you submit the contact form instead of the Twitter or Facebook Message, make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify.
