Changed password via website - desktop client accepts old password?

Hi,

 

While using the Windows Spotify desktop client I got a message saying 'paused as account is in use elsewhere - this worried me, as the only place it should be used is on my laptop and my iphone.

 

So, as a precaution I have changed my password on the account page of the Spotify website. However, my desktop client does not accept the new password and only accepts the old one.
