Changing Password to the one generated specifically for Spotify

I had to go through the FB log in method and HAD to use my FB password, I do not like that. Now FB will generate a different PW for apps, which I have done for spotify. However spotify has me locked into my FB account login and will not allow any change to... anything. As FB and spotify are all kissyface why can't you get this working for us?? Either I am allowed to use the FB generated PW or I dump spotify.

Any solution or input is greatly appreciated.

BTW I made a new FB account, generated a Spotify specific PW and reinstalled spotify, registered and I am still unable to use the FB generated password.
