Charged after prepaying for year

Charged after prepaying for year

I was charged 9.99 for the month, after prepaying for the year. I have submitted 4 contact forms, but with no response from Spotify . Does Spotify read or respond to these forms? The credit card company removed the charge from my statement , but I'm sure it will be there next month .Short of cancelling the card, which I don't want to do, is there any way to get Spotify to correct this?

You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you with this.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible. Give it 24 to 48hrs, also make sure you're checking your Spam folder because sometimes emails might end up there.

Toku: Thanks for the quick response. However I have  filed 4 online contact forms with no reply from Spotify. I will try once more,then if there's no reply from Spotify,I will have no choice but to cancel the credit card account. I really like the service, but I am very unhappy with spotify's customer service.

I am also having trouble getting a response with my case and is quite anooying when dealing with money inadvertantly charged

Always remember to check Spam/Junk folders also because those email might end up there also time to time.
