When you search for me on Spotify, my profile is missing

I can't find myself when I search on other people's profiles. It's making it impossible for people to find me. How do I rememdy? I don't have Facebook but I can't tell if there is a privacy toggle I've switched.

Hi, I just signed up for a family sub with my son. But when he try to log on from the link I send him he get this answer "Cannot join Spotify family"? He logged in with my username/password. What did he do wrong?
