Code invalid?

I recently acquired a spotify gift card through vodafones cherry points and whenever I try and redeem it it says it's not a valid spotify premium code, the code I entered is correct and all cases are correct I had a look at the forums and none had any real answers Help me!!!

Hey @aarongallagher9 did you receive an e-card or a physical gift card? Gift cards need to be activated at the store's register, can you return to a Vodafone store so they can scan the card?

Hey @aarongallagher9 did you check these two things:

If you see this message when redeeming a code please check the following:

• The code has been entered correctly. Spotify codes are case sensitive. Make sure the code is entered exactly as it appears.
• The code hasn't expired. If the code is from an e-card, it can be redeemed up to 12 months after purchase.

It's neither of these I checked it over and over copied it exactly from the code I recieved only a couple days ago so it's not expired either
