I suggest you try a clean reinstall and see if this helps, This usually fixes most problems 🙂
Note: This will remove any saved offline tracks and cache 🙂

Same issue! The app is the only reason I even buy Premium, and I can't even access the playlists to delete some. I don't even have that much downloaded.

SOLVED: I had the exact same problem on Galaxy S4. Spotify Premium.
My procedure:
Cleared cache, did not work.
Cleared data, it worked: the Disk Almost Full window no longer froze the app.
