I have a spotify prenium account; which my girlfriend has been using on her phone. Does it still use up my mobile phone's data?

Hello @kjkillswitch! Welcome to the Spotify community.

When using your premium account on anyone's phone, it will use your mobile / cellular data plan whenever you stream music. By default, Spotify is set to use Automatic streaming quality, so if you're on mobile data and not WiFi, it will stream using as little data as possible.

To prevent data overages / fees, I recommend making a playlist for offline listening and choosing to download it (flip the greep toggle switch when viewing the playlist on your phone) over WiFi before you leave the house. If there's WiFi around when your girlfriend is using her phone, I suggest she connect to that when streaming Spotify to save on data.

When your girlfriend is logged in on your account on her phone, it will use her data. Everything you do on your phone will use your data and everything she does on hers uses her data. Let me know if you have any other questions or issues!
