Hey guys!

When i log onto my Spotify i get an annoying message in a blue box. "Unable to connect to Spotify. Trying to reconnect... Error code: 101"

Although I have Premium, and I've put all my playlists as avaliable offline, and i have full internet connection, this happens... Any tips?

Cheers,

Sara

Hey tokoferol, welcome to the Community.

Error 101 is one of our connection errors. So first up, try resetting your wireless router and trying again.

If that doesn't help, make sure that Spotify is enabled access in your antivirus and firewall software.

In case anyone else gets this, try this:

1. Open Run

2. Type in cmd and press enter.

3. Type in ipconfig /release and press enter. (This will disconnect you from the internet)

4. Type in ipconfig /flushdns and press enter. (This will flush your DNS)

5 Type in ipconfig /renew and press enter. (This will connect you to the internet again, hopefully solving your problem)

Works for me when I get this problem, can always try.

Would of thought just ipconfig /flushdns would work if I must be honest.

But if it worked with you I suppose it does not matter :).
