Disconnected Facebook from account, lost subscription and playlists!!

Hello! I need help, this is odd.  I disconnected from Facebook and lost everything! BUT when I went to add friends again, I can see that the account I lost is still active, but I CANNOT access it!! 😞 Does anyone know how to get the old one back? I've been paying the subscription and never meant to deactivate it, but it seems as if it is not. I created the account linked to FB originally. Help help help, please!

Your original account is a stand alone Spotify account, all you need to do is log out and back in again using your Spotify username "tlperry24" (not your email address) and your Spotify password. 

 

If you don't know the password for that account:
1. Go to https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/
2. If you get redirected to your online profile (where you need to current password to make the change), you are still logged into the website. Click on your name at the top and choose Log Out.
3. Return to https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/ and you should be able to request a reset.

I have a similar problem - but I do not know what my  facebook account username was. Now it is just numbers and everything is gone after I connected a free and a premium account (the premium is intact, but the free FB one is gone) 😞 What do I do?

Just reply directly to the no-reply email and someone will be in touch as soon as they can, normally within 24 hours. If you also let us know your 8 digit case number here, we can escalate it to the Spotify team for you.

Please use the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help get this sorted. If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly to speed things along.

How did you disconnect from Facebook exactly?
Can you post a link to your old profile (if you have found it)?

I would also suggest getting in touch as outlined above.

I went to preferences and clicked "disconnect from facebook" Then everything was gone and my subscription changed to "free user." But when I went my friends Follow list, the one I disconnected was still up, all the playlist ect there as well.  When I tried to sign in through FB again, it is now the same Facebook account but without a subscription. playlists ect. I can't figure out how to get back the one I had before. I went on the other one and "followed" my own playlists haha, but I want that one back and I DO not want to have to pay for two subscriptions. 😞

tlperry24 <---- this is the one I disconnected, and had no idea I would lose everything. 😞 I simply clicked disconnect from FB in the preferences I wanted to see what would happen, had no idea I would lose everything and be downgraded to a free user account. 

 

12126238761 <-----this is the new one  that I have, when I tried to log back in with the same FB account.  

 

Is there a way to merge them or delete the new one?  It doesn't give the option the "connect to Facebook" on the new one Spotify gave me. Also it's under "free user" And I really don't want this one as my subscribed user, I want the other one back. Hopefully there is a way to fix this. 😞

Your original account is a stand alone Spotify account, all you need to do is log out and back in again using your Spotify username "tlperry24" (not your email address) and your Spotify password.

If you get in touch with the accounts team they'll be able to help.If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly to speed things along.

I've already sent like 5 or 10 messages to Spotify: I just receive an automatic response telling me to ask other users at this forum or whatever it's called - I'm not a native English speaker 😞

 

The email they're using is called < noreply-support@spotify.com which leads me to thinking they're tricking me!! They don't want to help at all!! I've spent 2 hours now on trying to fixing this problem

Now it works - Spotifycares on twitter told me that I had accidentally created a new facebook account and have now given me the old one back - thanks for the reply: Problem solved! 🙂

I have a similar problem too, but i have now create like 3 accounts on the same mail..I have already send 2-3 e-mails to the no-replay mail but they didn't answer.. I just want to reconnected my right account to my mail..

I have the same issue, choose disconnect from playlist and now all of my playlists are gone, and I'm not premium.  Username is carrie31187 - email carrie31187@gmail.com.

 

I have contacted Spotify with no response yet.........and uninstalling didn't help. Logging in with just my spotify username didn't help - it still has my FB picture and everything, just not premium and no playlists at all.

Strange, I can see a load of playlists on the account "carrie31187". Are you definitely logging in using that username and your Spotify password?

yep - there are so many issues with this, legal and beyond that you guys are charging me for this service.  There have been so many threads on this issue, and no clear resolution posted - it is ridiculous.

Just as a test, does your account report as premium if you log into your online account
