Hello Spotify support.

 

I recently discovered I was hacked when my account suddenly didn't show my previous playlists, and had these playlists exchanged for only Italian music. How do I go about getting my account back? By a miracle, the hacker forgot to disconnect the account from facebook, so I can still log in, but I can't reset the password since I no longer have access to the e-mail connected to the account after they changed it. I can't find a phone-line to call customer support, so I'm writing here desperately looking for an answer. My premium time is ticking away as the hacker has access to my account. I can prove that I am the owner not only through the fact that my facebook account is still attached to the **bleep** spotify account, but I also have acess to the credit-card information thats been used to pay for the subscription up until now. 

 

Please Spotify support - how do I demand that the account's e-mail be reset to the previous one so I can change my password and save the account?

Please bear in mind that the Spotify Community is NOT an official Spotify support service and Spotify doesn't offer customer support over the phone.

 

You may be able to regain full access to the account by reaching out to Spotify Support and providing them the requested information for ownership verification:

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
