'Email address already in use' BUT this is the account I've always used!

'Email address already in use' BUT this is the account I've always used!

I've been a member for a long time and have a premium account.

 

I've just tried to update my postcode, but when I try to save, the 'Another account is already registered with this email address' message appears. This hasn't happened before - my account has been active for a long time. Has it some how duplicated?

 

Can anyone help?

Hi there, and welcome to the community!

It is possible you've accidentally made an account with Facebook that uses the same email as the other account, and that is probably why you're getting the error message.

 

You should contact customer services using the Support Form - they'll be able to check if there is a duplicate account, and delete it if there is 🙂

I have the exact same problem. I used the contact form and then the message said we will send the reply to.....and it was the email that I do NOT use!!! So what's up with that???

Why can't we have a PHONE number to call a HUMAN BEING???
