Facebook Username problems

I downloaded Spotify and signed up with my Facebook, but am unable to log in. Neither my Facebook name or any of the emails that I have associated with my Facebook are accepted by the Spotify application. When I enter an email it says to use my username, but neither my display name or any of my emails without the "@gmail.com" or "@facebook.com" part work. I attempted changing my FB password and trying that, but it failed as well.

I'm having the same problem. What is a facebook "username?"
