Family Member with an account from a different country

Hey,

I'am a student from austria and living with 4 other students in the same flat. We were thinking about creating a Spotifiy Account but one of us has a german spotifiy account (created in germany, but he is staying for now in austria), will he be able to join our "austrian family" (austria and germany has the same family price, 15€)?

Hey @Donteuqilla, I'm glad you're all joining Premium for Family, yes he can join but everyone needs to update their address on their profile to the same on each. Go to spotify.com/account and edit that. If he's on Australia right now he will be able to switch to that country right away by accesing the account from there.

If his account is a german registered account (if it says 'country: DE') then you can't add him. Your family members must live (or at least have an account from the same country) in the same country as the family account holder. Your only workaround is to create a new account in your country for your friend.
