Family members cannot login to new premium family account

Hi i just got an premium family account and it works without problems for me but when my family tries to accept the invite it says there is an error in username or password which is correct. 

Can you confirm they need to login with the email i sent the invite to and the general pasword i created when making the account ?

Sorry that was a stupid question, they did not have accounts yet so needed to create an account before they could login 😄
