Family subscription

Hello i have upgraded to fsmily. I have added family members they have accepted invite and are shown to be active.
My problem is that when one of us is playing our chosen music and another chooses to play their music... it cuts out other. Therefore only one child can listen.
I was of impression that we could all listen to our different music at same time. Can you please please help.

Hello,

It sounds like multiple people are logged into the same account. Make sure each person is logging into the Spotify app with their own account.

How do I tell if the family members I sent invitations to are active

I'm new to the family subscription.  How could you tell when your invitees became active
