Favorite people list is gone! Help!

I just updated spotify a few days ago and noticed my favorite people list that used to appear on the top left, above the people list that shows all of my facebook friends as they listen to music, is gone.  I can't find a way to get it back...anyone know how to do this?  I've also noticed that my people list that automatically updates as my friends listen to music, is not showing all my friends anymore.  In fact, only one of my friends (who also used to be on my favorite people list), is the only one that shows up here, whereas the rest are people that I don't know and was not following before the update.  None of my facebook friends are showing up on this list either.  So, two things: 1) I would like to figure out how to get my favorite people list back, and 2) I would like to eliminate the people that are showing up on my people list, and figure out how to get only my facebook friends back on this list.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

The latest update to the Spotify client brought in changes to how the social system works. 

In the new client, the favourites section on the activity bar has been removed, that is why you can no longer find it. 

The activity bar in the new client shows the activity of any people, artists or playlists which you follow, there is no way to get it to display the activity of all of your Facebook friends in this version. You can manage who/what you follow from the new "Follow" tab on the left of the client, or by using the Follow/Unfollow buttons on any supported page. 

If you wish to give feedback on the new client, have a read at the reported issues here and reply to that topic with your feedback. There are also instructions on how to unofficially roll back to a previous client version here.

I do not like the New Activity Bar/Following Bar as well. I think one of the major plus' with Spotify is to SHARE songs with friends and it was great when the People List on the right side was there because I could just drag a song to their name and send it to them. The only way now is to click the share button and then you have to type in their name.

I would bring back the People list as soon as possible!

A better idea would be to have the People list on the side and then have the ablity to have groups that you could just drag the song to. Because personally I usally send a song to a group of people not just one person.

Also in the Inbox is there was a way to see our songs that we send out and to whom. So an OUTGOING BOX. This would be nice.

If anyone knows of a way to fix this issue to put the people bar back on the side please let me know. If there isnt a way to fix this then Spotify you guys need to bring this back. I know I'm not the only person that wants this back. 

And if there is another post that this should be on let me know.

I REALLY don't like the changes to the favorite people/ follow list.  I agree with the other folks that have posted that this is NOT an improvement.  Plus, I am left following only 3 of the people I was originally following and when I try to add back the others - I can't.

It's turned into a bit of a time s*ck trying to figure it all out.  The music share at a glance was one of the cooler things about SPOTIFY
