How Can I Unsync A Device?

Hi, 

My mother has just discovered Spotify but we both live in the same house using the same internet plan etc and so when she logs onto he Spotify and I log onto mine (both on cellphones) I can control if she listens or not. I have tried to unsync the two devices but there isn't an option to do so.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Just to clarify, are you and your mother connected to the same blue-tooth (or other) listening device and end up interrupting each other while streaming through your own accounts? Or do you share the same Spotify account? 

As a heads-up, the Spotify app is designed to have each person use their own account and, for this reason, the solution would be to have two separate accounts if you're sharing one at the moment 🙂
