How can I allow explicit content on a chromebook on the website?

Everytime I click my account and click settings, it only come up with one setting, language, and I can't find the explicit content setting. My premuim manager hasn't blocked my content, so what do I do?

Hi @mjonezz!

The playback of explicit content is set by your account, however, this cannot be controlled through the Web Player - if explicit tracks are greyed out, you'll need to allow their playback through the app instead. If you're running a 2018 or later model, you can install it from the Google Play Store.

For more info on how to toggle on the feature visit this article.

There's also this idea about having the same settings on the Web Player as in the app which you may find interesting, so feel free to check it out and share your feedback.

Cheers!

Hi!

So what if you can't download the app?? Is there a way to allow that without the app??

Hey @mjonezz,

Thanks for getting back to us.

If you can't download the app on your Chromebook, feel free to use any other device available. Allowing explicit content on it should update the settings for your account across all devices including the Chromebook.

Let us know how it goes.

Take care,
