How do I change email on android (pixel 6)?

My Question or Issue

When I install Spotify on my Pixel 6, somehow it gets my home email address.  I am using my work email address for Spotify (our youngest is using my home email address, as she does not have an email address).

When I try to change my email address from my home email address to my work email address, the app keeps telling me the password is incorrect.  The password is correct.

How do I change email addresses in the android app?
