How do I get my old account back?

Hi! So, my account got hacked and the email address was changed to a different one while they used mine for a free account. I got in contact with spotify and they disabled the account that was using my email and secured my Premium account so it'll stay disabled so that no one can access it (the one that the hacker changed the email for). I made a new account but I really, really want my old account back so I can have access to my old playlists and music. Is there any way that I can close the new account that I made and get my old one back? I've had it for years and I desperately want my music back. Thank you!

In that case, I'd recommend reaching back out to Support to see if it's possible to enable the account again.

You may need to provide proof of ownership of your account, purchase, or payment details, so be sure to have them ready.
