How long to dissociate my account from my mobile carrier?

Hi, my subscription was previously managed by my mobile carrier (Spark NZ) as they provide a free premium subscription. However, I am now wanting to upgrade to Spotify Premium for Family which Spark does not provide. I have asked Spark to dissociate my Spotify account from their end, which they confirm they have done. However, when I log into my Spotify account I am still told that it is managed by Spark.

 

Does anybody know/has anybody had any experience with how long it usually takes for Spotify to change my account back to a free account so I can subscribe to Spotify Premium for Family?

You should reach out to Spark to find out when your Spotify subscription through them ends.

I have asked them and they say that it has definitely been diasocciated from their side. I am guessing that because the subscription is technically monthly, my account won't revert back to being free until my billing anniversary date (I have no clue what date that is though!).
