How to be found with my profile name ?

My Question or Issue

I would like to be found with my DJ name:

- my Spotify account name is not my DJ name one

- I modified my profile name but it is not seen from Spotify search

I would like to know the solution to be found from Spotify search

- Is it possible to be found only with profile name ?

- Or does I need to create a new account with a better username ?

Hi there @kenpop,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

It is possible to search on your display name. We actually tried from our end with both the desktop app and a mobile device and we was able to find you.

Can you search on your display name and then scroll down to profiles (if you're using the desktop app) and see if you find it.

If you're using the mobile app you should be able to see your account when you as an option when you type it in the search bar.

When it comes to creating a new account to change your username - your username is designed to identify you on Spotify, so you can't change it at the moment.
