How to remove facebook log in but maintain access

Hi Community, so when I first opened my Spotify account in 2010, I signed up/logged in via facebook. I now want to delete my Facebook permanently. I've tried adding another log in (via google and email and password.) I keep getting the message "something went wrong, please try again." 

I've tried several times over the past couple of months.

I really really want to delete my facebook permanently, however I have 14 years of music on my spotify, playlists, people I follow etc and can't live without it.

Any ideas?

Proceed with the "forgot my password" process at login and set a new password. This way you don't need Facebook login anymore
