How to remove your account from family and stay premium?

I am part of a familly account but no longer wish to be. If the family admin removes me how do I pay for my own account and keep all my playlists etc...?

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

In this case, you'll need to ask the owner of your Premium for Family subscription to remove your account with these steps. Once your account has reverted to Free, you can start your own Premium subscription here.

Don't worry, you can keep all your music and playlists as long as you keep using the same log in info.

I'm on a similar situation, but i am the owner of the family account and need to be removed from the family.

How do I do that without loosing my playlists and music?

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Firstly we'd like to reassure you that your music collection will always be present on your account regardless of the subscription type or status.

If you're the owner of the Family subscription and you want to leave it, you'll have to cancel the subscription and wait for it to expire. Afterwards a different member can activate their own Family subscription and invite the members to it.
