How to switch to $5 Student Subscription

Hello, 

I am a US college student signed up for spotify, but am being charged $10 a month instead of $5 because I signed up with an email that was not my student email. 

Does anybody know how to correct this so I can receive the lower price? Will I be able to make this change or will I have to create an entirely new account and lost my playlists in order to get the discounts?

Hello!

To apply for the Student Discount, just head to the Student page to register. The discounted price should take effect on your next renewal date, which you can check on your Account Subscription page.

If you run into any difficulties, just send a message through the Contact page and the Support team will be glad to take it away.
