How transfer my family member account to a family host account?

Hello,

I am member of our family account, but would like to move out and create my own family account for my flatmates and me, as host this time. How can I create a family account by keeping all my playlists, favorites etc.?

Hey @steph76,

First, you'll need to let the current plan owner know that you want to leave their plan.

After they've removed you from the plan, you can just upgrade to Premium for Family at https://spotify.com/family.

And that's all! You're now the owner of a Premium for Family plan.
