I don't have the access to some artists anymore - it's not about licenses

Hello!

I have an odd problem with my Spotify acount I believe. Some time ago I wanted listen to a German artist called Alligatoah (or his band Trailerpark) and suddenly couldn't anymore. I got the typical error message that the song isn't available. I tried other songs from those two, nothing.

So I deleted them from a shared playlist and a friend of mine asked why. I told him they're gone from Spotify and he told me he can listen to it without any problem. Today I checked again, for me these songs are still unavailable. I created a new free account to test things out and yup, I can listen to these artists on the new free account from the same PC and program (I use the desktop app), but not from mine main premium account.

Andy idea what's wrong? 😞

The problem occured randomly, one day the songs were just gone, but only for me, as it seems..

I'm having the same issue, beginning Monday, October 16th. Suddenly I can't play any Michael Jackson, Beck, Alt J... the list goes on and on. I have a Premium account, and it's happening on my PC, laptop, AND mobile.

I am currently experiencing the same issue. My PC client and Android app refuse to play a number of artists. I have tried reinstalling Spotify on my PC to no avail, but for some reason the web player does play those artists.

Affected artists for me, that I know of, are NERO and Krewella.
