Impossible to change country after moving.

I moved to Belgium. Cant seem to change my location though here for my account. I keep may paypal account (that I continue to use of course) and changed country and Postcode confirmed Paypal but got following error:

We kunnen je betalingsgegevens niet bijwerken
Sorry, we kunnen je betalingsgegevens niet bijwerken.

Any hints here?

I have the same problem having set up my Spotify account when I was living in Spain and now that I'm back in the UK it will not connect, telling me I can't access the service when I'm 'offline'. Isn't there anyone out there who has a solution?

Hey guys 🙂

First port of call when you change country is to update your country on your Spotify Profile.

You will also need to update your payment details. Make sure that you change your country information in paypal as well if that is your choosen payment method. Your payment card and your Spotify profile must be registered in the same country, if they aren't your payment will be declined.

thank you for your mail!

I did all that, still  my change of country didnt work. 

I want to continue to use paypal for spotify, when changing the country you have to re-enter your details, but then this gets rejected. 

Of course I will keep my original German paypal account and not open a number of others just to be able to use a service like spotify. I want all my payments in that paypal account to have a proper overview and not spread out in several accounst and banks.

Would be great if Spotify  can fix this, else spotify gets useless to me, cannio change everything when I have to move with my job every year.  I am so far using the service occasionally when I have some time, but was planning to buy more. 

Nevertheless if its not flexible for us who have to work.. and move a lot its not useful for me anymore.

Still hpoing to find a practical solution here...

I would suggest you drop the customer services team a message using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you further with this.

For music licensing reasons, your payment method has to be from the same country as your Spotify profile. If you have a payment method entered, you'll need to change that first.
