Incorrect password message (Error 3) even though password is correct

A few days ago I got logged out of my spotify account, so I just logged back in and everything was fine. However, the next day it happened again. Although, this time it told me that my password was incorrect. I of course knew that it wasn't since I was just able to log into the account the day earlier using the same password. I have contacted Spotify a few days ago and they have yet to respond. I still cannot access my account. I also tried to reset my password, but the only way to do so is to send the link to the email associated with the account. My account is very old, so I no longer have access to the email used for the account. If someone has a solution to this issue it would be greatly appreciated!!

It sounds like someone might have accessed your account without your prior authorisation. We recommend you follow the steps outlined in this support article in order to secure your account. Once you get in touch with our Customer Support team and get verified, you will be able to change your email address to a current one.

I know this sounds rediculous but have you made sure Caps Lock isn't on? I have done this so many times without realizing and its just something to be aware of.
