Little problem. Would appreciate help!

Hey! First of all I hope everyone reading this is having a great day. Good vibes to you!

Here's the problem I'm currently having. A good friend of mine gifted me a Spotify card that she bought at Wal-Mart. Such a sweetheart, right? Well, the thing is I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina and she lives in Georgia, US. When I went to spotify.com/ar/ it showed me an error that said that the card needs to be bought in the same country that you're using it in. 

Sadly here in Argentina, even though Spotify is supported (I.E: You can buy a subscription with your credit card) we don't have gift cards. There's no place where you can get them. (They're not sold out, they're simply not sold where I live) 

So I was wondering, is there a way in which I can trade this gift card code for one I can actually use or something you can do about it? Or am I just completely out of luck?

I'm afraid that gift cards can only be used in the country where they are purchased so you won't be able to use it in Argentina.

All I can suggest is asking the customer services team very nicely could they swap it over for you (as a one off gesture). You can drop them an email using the online contact form and see what they say. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
