Logging In

I am unable to log in to Spotify.  I have sent a request to Support and have received a number from them but they have directed me here.  I have already read all the help articles and have checked some of the q&a on this page.  I think the problem is that I have forgotten my username and password?  I have tried every combination that I can think of - no luck.  Should I delete Spotify and reinstall?  If so, how do I delete it?

Can you login at spotify.com?  If not, you may request an new password by following the steps at this link.

Otherwise, you may get in touch with Spotify via their Twitter page (@SpotifyCares), or by following this link (you won't have to login with this link) to send an e-mail.
If you send an e-mail, please check your inbox (and spam box) to check for their automatic reply. Once you get it, please reply to it immediatly (even if it's from an no-reply e-mail addres) to make sure an Spotify employee will get back to you as soon as possible.

Uninstalling is unlikely to help if you can't remember your login details.

In fact providing you haven't already done it, you can retrieve your Spotify username from the client. If you are using Windows navigate to
C:\Users\<Your Windows Username>\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\Users

In that folder, there will be a folder for each username that has ever logged into that client install.
