Logging Into an Account

Hello!

Three years ago, I did a collaboration with someone on Soundcloud and they have decided to post the song onto their Spotify. As of now, they go by a different artist name (which they have always changed throughout the years) and have made a reupload to that song last year. Since my artist name is "aesmey" and he put me as a feature in the song, I have no access to that account since it has never been something I made in the first place (if so, then I do not recall the emails that I could have used since it has been so long ago).

I was wondering if there was a way to retrieve or have access to the account since I have been wanting to transfer my music onto Spotify. I figured that it would be difficult to upload it under my artist name if I cannot log into it in the first place. To prove my identity, I have files of when I created my music on my computer.

TL;DR - trying to retrieve an account that I have no recollection of making in the first place since a collaborator uploaded my song through their profile and has tagged me as my artist name instead of the normal Spotify account I use. Because of this conflict, I am wondering what the implications are if I want to stream my music onto Spotify.

Hey @kylawaii ,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Keep in mind that artist pages and personal profiles are two entirely different things 🙂

You can request access to Spotify for Artists at http://artists.spotify.com/claim.

Hope this helps!
