Login issue on win10

I upgraded my computer to Win10 from Win8.1. Now, the Spotify client does only run in offline mode. It connects to my account (Premium) with the web interface, also the webplayer is working as well as the app on Android. The windows app DOES connect if I turn on a VPN though. Any explanations for that?

That doesn't sound cool. Have you tried a clean reinstall of the Spotify app? You can do so by following the exact steps at https://support.spotify.com/learn-more/faq/#!/article/reinstallation-of-spotify/.

Hi Jason,

I was able to solve the problem. The Network adapter driver software (Atheros Killer) installs a network manager which is enabled by default. Once I disabled this tool Spotify ( and Outlook which was also affected) worked normally again.
