Login problems

Hi, I cannot log in to my Spotify account, I was previously on a family account but have tried to start a new account with the same email address (so I don't lose my music) it just says error 404

The error may be caused by one of two things that I can think of.

1) Because you already had an account, (the family account you mentioned), then it may not be able to make another account using the same email address.

2) There may be an issue with the internet connection at the time.

My suggestion would be to:

A) Double-check your internet connection is strong and nothing is causing it to fail.

B) Create a new email address in order to create a new spotify account.
