My playlist is showing up under another user

When I search a particular user who I don't follow and visa versa I have noticed my playlist shows up when searching there name

Does the playlist show up on their profile? If so, they might have it saved in their library. If you want to keep your playlists private, you can check out this article for more info.

It's also possible that they're the playlist's creator and you're just following it from your account. The creator's name is displayed underneath the playlist title:

So if I search for a user my playlist will show up under the users name so does that mean they are listening to it frequently as they do not have it saved

Thank you for keeping in contact.

To understand a little bit more about the behavior you're reporting, is your playlist being displayed on the user's profile? If so, it would be great if you could include more info and a couple of screenshots in your next response to take a better look. Make sure the images don't include any personal information.

Also, would you mind confirming if the playlist you mentioned is set to Private? You can check this by following the process mentioned in the article previously sent by @Yordan.

The playlist is now private so I can't screen shot as it's no longer showing but basically when I searched this person name before clicking on the profile my playlist is underneath there user on search. We know each other but don't follow or like each other's playlist

I have seen a few Reddit posts about this and no one seems to know why is it algorithm or is it the fact they've listened to the playlist frequently for it to show when searching there name

I just want to know if that means this person has listened to this playlist frequently and that's why it's showing

Thanks for getting back to us. 

No worries, when you make a playlist private, nobody can access it, even if they have a link to it or search for it by name.

Additionally, to clarify, frequently listened playlist don't appear automatically on someone's profile.

Not really you haven't answered the question as to why this happened in the 1st place

I often typed a person's username in the search button. When I typed it, his ex-girlfriend's playlist popped up. The name of the playlist and the user were not similar. Now, when I type my name, my ex's playlist pops up. What does this mean? I'm quite disturbed about this, and it turns out that I searched for their usernames.
