My username is my email.

Hello, I would like you to change my username because for some reason my username is my email and when I created my username I never put my email as username. I want them to change it since I want my email to remain private.

Hi @chiris29,

Your username is unique and is designed to identify you on Spotify, so you can't change it, I'm afraid. No worries though, you can set a display name instead, which replaces the username where it shows on your profile, app, and playlists. More info on how to do that here.
 

There's also this idea about being able to change your username which you may find interesting, so feel free to check it out and show your support by giving it a thumbs up so it has a better chance of being considered.

I also would like to change my user name, so here's to hopes for that being a feature in the future..
? 😄 I made my Spotify when i was 18 and freshly married to my first husband.. Now divorced and married with kids to the love of my life, i strongly dislike being stuck with  mrs.(previously married name) as a user name. smh lol      TL;DR Can changing user name be a feature in the future because i regret my chosen user name from when i was young and dumb. 😄
