Ok, so I've been using free spotify for a while, and just got a new ipod for Christmas. I just signed up to premium under the impression that this meant I could download music onto my computer, to then put on to my ipod. Is this not correct?
There seems to be no option anywhere to download specific songs, and it is really hard to find answers on the website. Can this actually be done? And then put onto my ipod? If not I have no reason to have a premium account, but I also hate iTunes so that is not what I want to use.
Thanks in advance
Adelaide

It is a nano. I don't want to have Spotify as an app on it. Let's ignore the Ipod thing for a second, why is my premium account (on a computer) not giving me any downloading music options?

So Premium is only worth having if you can have it on a smart phone or tablet? Is there a way to get refunded on my first payment?
Sorry I am an confused, this is what I want to do http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-sync-spotify-music-to-your-ipod.html
* I am confused
You can sync content using Spotify to your iPod, but only local files which you already own, the same as you can do with iTunes. Spotify instructions on how to do that are here but since its just local files (which you would have to purchase from another source) Spotify Premium is of no benifit.
If you want to discuss a refund get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they can take it from there. If you have signed in and streamed content it might not be possible but you can definitely ask.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
Edit: Annoyingly Spotify currently can't connect to iPods with the new lightning connector due to this open bug.

Okay, so it is £9.99 a month to listen to Spotify on your mobile/tablet when you are somewhere with no internet?
That is fine but I searched the website for ages before coming on the forum and these things really aren't very clear.

Among a few other things, yep. Premium users also won't see ads, can stream in high quality on all devices, can use Spotify on third-party devices like Sonos, Samsung Smart TVs, etc, as well as having those offline playlists on mobile/tablet/computer.
Is there a way anyone canhelp me walk thru signing up with the starbuckx promo
