Not getting password email

Not getting password email

I am trying to set up spotify on sonos i request the email so i can set my password but it doesnt come. I have checked junk folders and added the spotify email to safe sender list etc..

 

When i signed up for the 30 day trial of Premium, i got the email receipt for that, but not the password email

 

HELP - its driving me crazy

hi

spotify has been disconnnected in my sonos. When I edit my profile on spotify, I can not see "send password for device"? which everybody tells me shoudl be there. What to do

 

yes, and reading from the number of posts I see here it does not seem so unusual to me....

My problem is that i am not even coming to the point where one Can ask for the email for password

@rumlestav - You only need to request that special device password if your account was created via Facebook. If the option is missing, its most likely you have a Spotify username and password style account and can therefore log into Sonos directly using those details. (You should be able to authenticate on Sonos with Facebook too if your Sonos is up to date!)

ok, but if I go into sonos, spotify is no longer there and can not add from / does appear if I go into "external music sources"..(not sure this is the name as I dont have access to sonos here

It definitely should be available, is it possible to reinstall the controller or reset the Sonos unit in some way?

tried again to shoot down both the sonos system and the controller...still no luck...dont know what to do know
