My offline access has been withdrawn even though I only have Spotify installed on 3 devices!!... I've had a lot of trouble with offline access and playlists gone missing and having to sync them again... Spotify, what is happening??
I know that this support forum is not run by Spotify but I hope someone from their team will see this and get back to me asap. I've had my Premium subscription for abt a year, it's never been syncing smoothly on mobile, old playlists with 0 songs turns up, but no new ones... and now this. 😞

superwhy & Tiemmothi - that's been done for you.
Thanks Richard. So will this mean that I can now access my playlists offline?
Hi,
Itseems to be letting me make the available offline so must be sorted.
Thanks

Should do. How's it going for you?
Hi Richard,
Is it possible you can reset my account as I have the same problems, and some of the devices I don't own any more.

No problem, that's all done for you. I recommend a quick clean reinstall on your desktop and mobile devices before syncing those playlists again: http://www.spotify.com/help/faq/tech/clean-reinstallation-of-spotify/
Getting the same issue, can I get my devices reset please.

Yep, all done for you.

I have to join the list, please reset my devices as well. Seeing as how often this seems to happen and how easily it can happen, I also suggest you offer some sort of "reset devices" function in the account section on your website. Then instead of having to read all this and keep resetting people, you could just link an FAQ.
Done! (And I would definitely like to see a button like that myself..)
Hi Angelica,
I've seen your recent responses to another user about the error message 'Offline access for this computer/device has been withdrawn'. You mentioned in your response that you could see what devices were registered as available for offline access. Is it possible for the Spotify user (ie me!) to see this list and then make any amendments as necessary?
It is very frustrating to receive this error message on my Mac and yet there's no way to click on the error message and receive further details, or steps to attempt to correct the problem.
To my knowledge, the devices that should be connected via my Premium Account are as follows:
My Mac
My Samsung Galaxy S2 Android mobile
My wife's iPhone
On a separate point, whilst I have you, I had the situation that a great number of users on this forum comment on where the playlists stop being able to be downloaded to the Android app: you click the download button and it shows the bar but it never advances beyond 0%. I followed the steps recommended last week and uninstalled and then reinstalled the app and it seemed to correct the problem. However, unfortunately, the problem has reoccurred today.
I have roughly 200 playlists on my account. It is not practical therefore to follow the proposed solution again as this then requires every offline playlist to be downloaded individually again.
Please can you recommend a more effective and efficient solution to my mobile playlist problem and also correct the offline mode issue?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Many Thanks
Stephen

Done!
Hi,
Im having the same problem. All of a sudden all my offline playlist were gone wich is all of my music and on top of that today I'm having connection problems too so no music whatsoever. This is the second time is a very short space of time with a similar problem last month.
I recently bought a Nexus 7 so I'm now running spotify on 3 devices, PC, mobile phone and table... wasn't aware there was some sort of limit to how many devices you could use.
Hi There,
I'm having the same problem as previous posters. I have a premium subscription, but -
All these installs and re-installs mean my account is now probably associated with more than four devices - so the Mac has now started returning the "Offline access for this computer/device has been withdrawn" message.
My wife also has a separate Spotify trial account (under a different Mac login on the home machine), so I imagine her account and mine don't influence eachother (she doesn't think she gets the "offline access withdrawn" error message).
Could you please reset my associated devices ?
Many thanks,
Peter
czechboysonic - ok, you're back to square one. Let us know if you need anything else.
Thank you Richard
HI!
My spotify account works fine offline till suddenly for no reason it tells me offline has been withdrawn, so I re download the files I want offline and it works for a few days and tehn suddenly again offline access is withdrawn. (usually when I am really needing to listen to a track for work while in a plane or something.... ) I have a mac, an iphone and an ipad. Those are the only devices I use. And only on teh mac and on teh iphone do I store file sfor offline use, not on the ipad, so that is only two reaaly . I am allowed three right? Should I reset in case spotify thinks I have more? (but why does it thik so only sometimes?) How do I reset?
Thanks for your help!
Hi fnegrin - You're probably having some trouble because you've got 2 Macs (and an iPhone) synced for offline use. If you want to use one Mac, an iPhone and an iPad I recommend clearing those devices for you.
You'll just need to resync all playlists. That sound alright?
Thank you Meredith
I only have one mac , one iphone and one ipad. and only have offline files on the mac and the iphone.... I do not know why you say I have two macs..., but in any case, clearing everything would be good, please go ahead, and once you are done, I will just resync the files I need on my iphone and mac...
Thanks again. Keep me posted!
