Offline mode issues with login

I can get onto the website no problem, but the app is insistent that, despite having no problems before my phone died from low battery, I need to turn online mode on. 

As far as I know, I can only access settings to turn it back on after I've actually managed to log in, so as far as I can tell, I've been barred from the app.

How can I fix this? I unsynced the device hoping that would help, even tried resetting my password and connection to a WiFi hotspot. Still nothing.

If the app is not allowing you to log in because you're offline, try reinstalling it. That should allow you to go back in and update the settings as needed.
